SAFE Asbestos Group Pty Ltd are an Australian owned and operated business based in Queensland with three regional offices and growing. The SAFE Asbestos Group head office is based in Brisbane, with secondary offices in Newcastle, NSW and the Sunshine Coast. We are in the process of procuring offices in Perth, Western Australia and Canberra in the ACT. SAFE Asbestos Group operates throughout Queensland in residential, commercial and industrial asbestos removing projects.

In operation for over seven years, SAFE has seen many changes including the expansion of our employee base. SAFE employ a large, full time team of highly skilled, trained and licensed asbestos removalists and hygienists. SAFE regularly offer and promote up-skilling to all levels of our team including licensing upgrades, first aid and personal development courses to name a few.

We are seeking an additional asbestos hygienist to share the workload!

The main responsibilities for this role will include:

• Providing technical advice on environmental and occupational issues
• Manage and assist with projects ranging from project inception to conclusion
• Asbestos Management Plans, asbestos surveys, site inspections
• Conducting asbestos air monitoring and clearance inspections

  
Skills and Qualifications required for the Asbestos Hygienist role:

• Minimum 2 years+ of experience in a similar role
• Asbestos Assessor Licence (essential)
• A valid Driver's licence
• Project Management skills / experience (desirable)
• Technical report writing skills
• Interpersonal skills and the the ability to put clients at ease
• Proactive nature
